James Denniston (Brooklyn newspaper notice)
James DENNISTON, who died on Friday in Kings County Hospital after a short illness, was born in county Longford, Ireland, twenty-four years ago and is survived by his mother, in Ireland; four sisters, Mrs. M. NUTTY, Mrs. C. McNAMEE, Mrs. M. Jones and Nellie DENNISTON, and a brother, John. He was a resident of the Tenth Ward. The funeral will be held tomorrow from the home of his sister, Mrs. NUTTY, 296 Bond street, under direction of John J. FLOOD, of 232 Hoyt street.

Born in Watkins, N. Y. Wife of Edwin Sandford Sigler. Descendant of Lieut. Daniel Denniston, as follows:
- Warren Sayre Dey m. Jennie Eliza Flower (1845-94).
- Davidson Flower (b. 1821) m. Caroline Van Vorhis (1821-1908).
- Albert Van Vorhis m. Margaret Denniston.
- Daniel Denniston m. Elizabeth Kierstadt.
Daniel Denniston (1758-1824) served as ensign, 1777, as lieutenant, 1780, and, 1781, in 2nd regiment, New York troops. He died in New Jersey. Also No. 82630.
